Frequently Asked Questions
What does a pulse oximeter measure?
A pulse oximeter measures your blood oxygen saturation (SpO₂) — the percentage of oxygen in your blood — along with your pulse rate. It's a quick, non-invasive way to monitor your oxygen levels at home or on the go.
What is a normal SpO₂ reading?
A normal SpO₂ reading is typically between 95% and 100%. Readings below 90% may indicate a medical concern and you should contact your healthcare provider promptly.
How do I use this pulse oximeter?
Simply clip the device onto your fingertip and press the single button to power it on. Your SpO₂ level, pulse rate, and waveform will appear on the OLED display within seconds. The device powers off automatically when not in use.
What batteries does it use and are they included?
The oximeter runs on 2 AAA batteries, which are included in the package (packaged separately). A carrying strap is also included for convenient portability.
