Frequently Asked Questions
How does the pressure-activated safety feature work?
Simply press the lancet firmly against your fingertip — the device activates automatically with pressure, releasing the needle for a quick, consistent stick. The needle retracts immediately after use to help prevent accidental needlestick injuries.
What gauge is this lancet and what does that mean?
This lancet uses a 30 gauge needle with a 1.5mm depth setting. A higher gauge number means a thinner needle — 30 gauge produces a small, precise micro blood flow ideal for diagnostic testing and blood glucose monitoring with minimal discomfort.
Are these lancets compatible with lancing devices?
These are pressure-activated, ready-to-use lancets that do not require loading into a separate lancing device — simply press directly onto the fingertip. They are single-use and should be disposed of safely after each use.
How many lancets come in a box and are they sterile?
Each box contains 100 individually sterile lancets with a tri-bevel tip for added precision. They are not made with natural rubber latex and are shipped with a minimum of 90 days remaining before expiration.
